Under license of G+W , Curti has launched into production a new automatic Balling and Banding Machine model WBAN208/305 for the hand knitting yarn industry.

The balling machine W208 is equipped with:
- 20 winding positions with positively controlled collapsible mandrels
- Yarn feeding from the front or rear of the machine.
- Pneumatic thread injector
- Programmable Controller that controls:
- Winding speed adjustable from 50 to 1300 rpm
- Flyer Beam movement in relation to preset revolutions
- Ratio between flyer and mandrels
- All the parameters can be stored in 40 programs so it is possible to recall them at will.
- Tucking-in thread end into the balls.
- Yarn brake detectors for machine stop or automatic rejection of incomplete balls
- Electronic mandrel surveillance for incompletely doffed balls.
- Electronic safety control of doffing beam.
- No. 1 set of 21 collapsible mandrels.

The banding machine BAN 305 (for balls from diameter 60 to 115 mm) is equipped with:
- Variable speed drive
- Photoelectric checking of ball presence (no ball - no band label)
- Ink-jet printing unit mounted on machine for the printing of band labels
- Hotmelt unit for the gluing of band labels
- Band label stacking device
- Vacuum generators for label transfer
- Compression belts
- No. 1 set of folders for band label width and 1 ball diameter
- Extended lower transfer belt for connecting to SV 600 Packer
