VAPORADA
Continuos Yarn Bulking Machine

The new VAPORADA VR1 is an innovated Continuous Yarn Shrinking and Bulking Machine with indipendent heads suitable to shrink and bulk a very wide range of hand-knitting yarns with counts from Nm 0.5 to Nm 5.
Thanks to its innovated heads (Patents applied for), it is possible to obtain excellent results with a short steaming chamber.
The new VAPORADA VR1 can be combined with cone or cake (spirowaps) winders according to the customer’s choice.

  Principle of functioning

The yarn is depositated in a particular “tube” shape on the woven belt and then conveyed into the steaming chamber.
Here the steam acts both inside and outside the “tube” , shrinking and/or bulking the yarn (please see the attached drawing).
The steam is injected under pressure in the steaming chamber; when the preselected temperature is reached, the electric-valve closes the immission of the steam.
Then the bulked yarn pass through the cooling zone and then is ready to be wound on cones or in cakes (spirowaps).
A set of photocells sincronizes the VAPORADA to the cone or cake (spirowaps) winders.

The innovated type of deposit of the yarn brings great advantages compared with a traditional steaming machine, such as
• the coils are not laid on, like in a traditional steaming machine, but allineated, so the yarn receives the steam in every part;
• the particular type of deposit with allineated coils avoids the initial crushing of the yarn with big counts;
• thanks to its indipendent heads, it is possible to process different kind of yarns at the same time;
• it is possible to shrink and bulk a very wide range of yarns in a short steaming chamber (1.8 m.), using a “small” steam generator (18 kw), with a consequently save of energy;
• thanks to the short steaming chamber, it is possible to manufacture a compact machine: dimensions 4,3 x 1,6 mt., total length with creels less than 6 m.
• Bulking time in steaming chamber indipendent from the speed of deposit.
• Increasing of about 40% of the production compared with a traditional machine.
